Missing left def seemed to be an issue--IMO other aspects such as KO's, punting emergencies, and overall ballsiness were positives. I think he could have, and will end up correcting the hook you speak of. If I'm wrong we'll never see him in the NFL again.

He’s last in the league theoretically. He’s ahead of two guys the Panthers signed for a couple games and a place kicker who did spot duty. Punters can get better I guess but I don’t know why they’re given a leash like this. Moorestead was great for the couple games he was here.
Part of me always wonders. How well can you judge a kicker in training. It's almost like everyone in training is going to be a good kicker and the bigger legs wow. But it seems like this is a position that only ever gets found out in real time scenarios. We're not the only team that can't get this right. Maybe they need to create wind tunnels in the training facilities or take them on tour during training camp to test them in the elements. Who knows but man I hate kickers.
