They won SB XXXVI w/ a ton of ex-Jet players and coaches- ask pat fans and I'm sure they didn't mind. I dont care where they come from as long as we win.
It is tpo be expected, and quite frankly i would be concerned if he didnt try to build this team, his way, with some guys he knows. It is standard practice. Look at all the guys who had Chiefs or Bucs backgrounds when Herm and Bradway first took over. Mangini has a system and style that he is comfortable with, he needs players to execute it, if he can get a few who are familiar with it and dont come to expensive, it does nothing but benefit the speed at which we become competetive.
It pisses me off more to see ex-Jets winning with other teams, especially the Patriots. Like seeing Bobby Hamilton, Roman Pfeiffer and Anthony Pleasant in the Super Bowl, for example.
