I missed a little bit of the game, what are you referring to?

Hit and run lined into a double play.

I don't mind the call, with Molina up. Them's the breaks.

oh, i saw that... I have no problem with that call; you have someone with pretty good speed on base and someone with no speed at bat. Just unlucky that he hit a linedrive right at Pena

63 pitches through 5 innings... efficient and dominant (6 SO)

Why not bunt? I know a lot of people are against the whole "sacrifice" concept, but when you have a guy who isn't a good hitter up, and he has the chance to move a runner over, with the top of the order coming up, take what you're given.

That'd be fine, too, I guess. I just don't see it as a huge deal or bad call.

at least all Yankee fans can agree on something, Nick Swisher is the man...

and to think we got him for Wilson Betemit, Jeffrey Marquez, and Jhonny N??ez. Nice job Cashman

I wouldn't either if it weren't for my dislike of Girardi's in-game decision making already.

If we'd have gotten half-a-dozen garden gnomes for Betemit, I'd have been happy. Getting Swisher for him is gravy.

Honestly, I see no reason why Swish can't play 4 days a week. 1 rest day per week for Damon, Nady, Teixeira, and Matsui.

Um, fuck that. Swisher is a starter. He should play 6-7 days a week. Anything less is crazy. Matsui and/or Nady can take a rest instead.

MLB Network is already tracking a Burnett no-no possibility.

They better give Burnett some more runs to work with. Breathing room is nice.

I want to punch Kay in the face. Not so much because he's saying it, but because of the attitude he has about it. What a fucking douchebag. Forever the last kid picked for kickball.
