You misunderstood what I requested from you. I don't doubt your numbers to be totally honest with you, and I agree with you and 3rd, that there is too much complaining about the stadium. Personally, I would have liked to have the Jets in NYC, but it's done, and I am not holding it against them. As a matter of fact, I praised Woody for doing what he did in my first post.

I was simply asking for clarification about the reference to a SLW award you "bestowed" upon me. Like another poster, I have no idea what that acronym refers to.

He didn't misunderstand anything. He ignored it. There's a big difference. Champ will not argue point for point with you. He will tell you whatever opinion he wants to tell you, and then try and tell you that it is a fact.

The moral of this story? Just let him rant, and then walk away. If you try and debate him, you'll end up banging your head against the wall.

Im live in upstate and would love to even see a game on TV every week. I have only been to the Meadowlands for a preseason game and loved it. I would drive 3 hrs each way to see a game. I just dont understand all of the NJ, LI and NYC hate. By the way Cham69....no way does the number of 70% make sense...that like 56,000 fans for the entire stadium and at least half of the place is filled with season tick holders.....so 28,000 season ticket holders from NJ??? Wish I had the contacts you do at the ticket box office.....

I think it holds more like 80,000.

You really must not be well that was 70% of all the seats @ the M/lands. You really are joking with your post right? I have to give you the early SLW award of the day for your post

I Mispoke....80,000 X 70% is 56,000 and half of that is 28,000. So if 70% of the fans in the seats are season ticketholders (I dont know the real figure) then 58,000 are from NJ. That is what I ment.....I guess we need to know the # of season tick holders to begin with...Mabye Champ can call one of his contacts and let us in on the #....Oh yeah Champ, how many beers do season ticket holders buy at an average game? and what % of them are light beer drinkers??
