OL Nick Mangold, who was the subject of a report last week expressing dissatisfaction with the amount of authority he had within the offense, said Monday that the report was false. He said he was joking around at the time and was misinterpreted. His wife saw the article and pointed it out to him, and Mangold sent a text to offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to say it was a total misunderstanding.

So he's cool with his role.

"Very much so, yes," Mangold said.​
