"Light years." Come on, dude. I'm not anti-Sanchez at all, but your willingness to blow up your credibility to defend him is kinda silly.

Marty ALONE gives this O a HUGE edge over last year.

nelson would have been our 2nd best weapon on O last year and he is probably 6th in this O.

The pass O sucked WITH Kerley.

    last 4 games w/ Kerley:

    Geno: 64-116, 708 yds, 1 TD, 5 INTs, 3 INTs for TDs, 58.4 rating

Are we really looking back on Sanchez to judge Geno? Geno is on pace to have the worst QB performance in the history of the NFL. We do not have the worst offensive talent in the history of the NFL.

Mark played very bad in AZ and Tennessee he did not play as bad the rest of teh season as people make sound like here. Mark needed to be benched and Geno needs to be benched. The lack of talent is no excuse for his historic bad play. The good thing about last game he completed more than 8 passes the bad thing he only completed 9.

That is just unacceptable you can't win in the NFL with less than 10 completions the saints game was fluke. Add the lack of completions to the turnovers and you have a very bad QB. I do not care how bad the oline is those numbers are just not acceptable to keep your job.

Nine completions two picks are you kidding me. We lost the last two weeks because of Geno.

David Nelson is the teams second option right now Who do you think leads the team in targets since Kerley went down?

Kerley got hurt in the first quarter of the Saints game. What is your argument anyways? If you think Sanchez had it worse- who cares? The receiver corp was awful last year and it's awful this year.

Your right it does not matter. Marks mistakes was forcing balls and trying to make something out of nothing. Geno just looks lost. Both are unacceptable both deserved to benched.

Nelson is not the 2nd option. Holmes, Cumberland and winslow are all ahead in the pass game and we have 2 good RBs as well.

the receivers are not very good this year but better than last year, mark w/ this group and Marty and we are in the playoffs.

mark + 3 years experience = geno + this receiver group. there is no evidence to suggest mark would have increased his comp % or cut down his turnovers. whether its mark or geno doesn't matter. a dynamic player on offense would do alot to help the qb situation out

Nelson led the team in targets against Baltimore.

Mark at his absolute worst in 2012 w/ less talent and Sparano was far better than geno this year(minus the Atl game)

I dont think people realize just how bad Sparano was. He's not just the bad OC everyone thinks. He is quite possibly the worst OC of all time. He will never get another chance at being an OC ever again.

Lack of weapons aside I've never seen an entire offense look so confused at all times. His play calling was terrible and his play design was somehow worse. He was as bad as I have ever seen in my life. Im only 24 but still.

it's amazing that people ignore this part of it, his O was REALLY bad. we saw instantly this preseason what a difference he made. we downgraded OC after 2011 and then upgraded after 2012.

Yea the O looked good in preseason but now against starting Ds going full on it has struggled. Especially without Kerley.

I'll never forget last year Chaz Schillens just throwing his hands up in the air and looking around panicking not knowing what route to run.

Also Gruden's great comment about how everytime the offense comes off the field Sanchez, Sparano, and Tebow looked like they were doing calculus problems.

Seeing McGloin do some nice things vs the raiders makes me want to see what Simms can do. If Geno plays poorly again the first half vs the Dolphins, Id put in Simms. I think we all can agree that Simms has more talent than McGloin.

At the same time though, the Raiders are playing the worst defense in the league and his no name receivers are actually making plays on the ball.

I dont think he has any future really, but it just makes me wonder what Simms could.

Yeah I was gonna say, the Cowboys have surrendered I believe 4 400 yard passers this year. And that was with Justin Durant and Sean Lee, two of their arguable 5 best defenders on the squad.

I would take Oakland's QB, their TE Rivera, and Denarius Moore over what we have.

I'm trying really hard to understand the point of this thread, I just don't get it.

Is the point that if McGLoin can do, why can't, Geno?

    If so, kinda dumb. IMO

The Raiders have struggled all year and it's only getting worse as we go along at this point. There roster does have some decent parts on offense though.

Overall, the Raiders have a lack of talent on offense as well, and it shows in their record as well. So that is why I'm so confused, this thread doesn't accomplish anything other than pointing out that both teams lack talent on the roster.

Should I clap my hands, I don't know what I am supposed to do.

The Raiders have some decent parts though. Moore, Streater, and Ford are all decent at their positions, could they upgrade? Yeah, they could. So can we, easily.

The Raiders are having a lot of offensive line problems as well, they have a stud center but are getting very poor play from their left guard Nix, just like we are with Winters.

When Mcfadden is healthy, clearly they take the prize at that position.

The QB's are both a ? mark at this point, none of us know how either of these players will pan out, only time will tell.

There will be a lot known at the end of these last four weeks of play, I'm confident in that.

Yes we have talent on this team. It is just that our offense (qb) sucks.
