Well clearly Woody should have went back to Queens so you wouldn't have to drive 2 f'n hours. Doesn't matter that sharing a stadium with a baseball team is horrible for the fans or that building a stadium with the Giants makes the most sense for the franchise. How could Woody be so inconsiderate, I mean jeez he didn't even think about your f'n 2 hour commute.. So they should be the NJ Jets, should the Washington Redskins(the most profitable franchise in NFL) be the Landover Redskins as well??

NJ Devils, NJ Nets, NJ Jets. Call it what it is.

How exactly was partnering with the Giants on a stadium the best move for the Jets franchise? clearly is wasn't even their first or second choice.

There were other options to explore. The city of NY surely didn't make it easy, or even appealing. E Rutherford is a better choice than Manhattan however you slice it. NJ has grown a great fan base for the Jets over the last 20 years, which has been great for the franchise. I still think the crux of the fanbase is in NY though. Woody doesn't seem to care much about that IMO.
I'd love to see them play on grass as well, which will never happen with an another overused statium. That probably would've been the case anywhere though.

This debate is over. The Jets are SHARING a stadium in NJ with the Giants. They are not tenants. Logically, because the Jets will play in NJ, they are moving the training facility to NJ.

Queens was not an option because, by the time the WSS was rejected, the Giants were almost finished negotiating with NJ over a new stadium. If Woody couldn't get in Manhattan, why build in Queens for $1 billion when you can join up with the Giants and build the same stadium for $500 million and still have the same revenue??? If he let the NJ opportunity go by, the Jets may have been forced to leave the NY area altogether or continue as a tenant in NJ.

The move is done. To continue to argue it will get you about as far as saying the Jets should have not drafted Mike Nugent in the second round last year. They did and he is a Jet and we will never know what would have happened if they drafted someone else.

The Jets are sharing a stadium in NJ with the Giants and their HQ will be in Florham Park. Done deal.

    lol. good points.
I'm not looking to debate it, nor do I have any vested interest in how the Redskins or any other team refers to themselves.
I can't even fully explain it, it's just something you feel. The Jets to some degree lack a little character and identity. part of that was from playing in a different state at a stadium named for a different team. I felt they really could've separated themselves with a move back to their roots in NYC. They are named the Jets due to Laguardia airport after all.
For me, it's just another little disappointment in a franchise consistent with liitle disappointments, like a Kicker in Round2.
But hey, that is part of being a Jet fan. You take the good with what you perceive to be bad. Our troubled history is actually what makes us all some of the most passionate fans in all sports.
Here's to newfound Jets success and finally having a home of their own!!
