At this point I almost would rather see Geno start just so the experience can end. If Bowles came out today and said we're starting Smith the rest of the year we'd finish 6-10. So what's the upside?

I don't think anyone thinks QB is the only issue. Anyone, even the Geno bots. but it doesn't change the fact that it is an issue.
Not trying to single out your post because this is something I've been seeing a lot lately, but is there anything Fitz' fault? Why are there so many excuses made for him?

There was a point late in the Texans game that I thought Fitz might get the hook. If we had any other QB on the bench, I'm certain he would have. That being said, it would be career suicide for Bowles to bench his starting QB with the season on the line. Bowles would either be a genius or out of a job. If you were Bowles would you leave that in the hands of Geno Smith? I didn't think so. No, Bowles will continue with Fitz, and Cro, and Coples, and Pace at least another game. Maybe even two more. Not until we are mathematically eliminated will Todd make major changes to the lineup. That's just my take.
Ferguson would do that no matter who the QB is. He's an offensive lineman, he's a teammate, he's a good human being... he's making sure his QB is okay no matter who it is. you are reading into that too much
Ok i understand he was aiding his QB... but why it have to be so Geno wouldn't come in? lol And if Fitz was in fact concussed (which i assume people will use as his excuse for ruined oppurtunities than he should have came out the game. nobody told his ass to go head to head with a safety anyway. lol.

One in the long list of many. But Fitz is what he is. He wasnt going to come here and be awesome. Just like he isnt terrible no matter what Geno fanboys want to think. But Geno would not be better so that makes a QB switch meaningless. He might equal the production that Fitz is giving. But considering he's injured thats not saying much.
This is EXACTLY the point. The other guy would have been shot by now.....after those last two games. That is a fact. It would be ALL his fault. That is simply a fact. In the end, they will suck with or without the neurotic fan base, but its interesting to behold. lol
Ok, I can live with that interpretation also but it definitely happened. I thought Fitzpatrick was out of the game when I saw him wobble away after his helmet came off. He must have pretty good fall backs for when the concussion guy is asking him questions and everything is going tweet tweet.
