Yes you having possibly the greatest qb of all time carried you for nearly a decade. As his retirement comes closer you shouldnt be surprised when you return to mediocrity for decades to come.
Didn't they go 11-5 without Brady? The Pats are kind of terrifying to me going forward. They're one of the youngest teams in the league, have 3 of the first 33 picks, and are getting back a ton of starters from IR (Bodden, Warren and Kaczur). I dunno. Maybe they'll fall apart, but I don't see it.
Enough with the being scared of the Pats bullshit. We beat them when they had a top receiver and we beat them when they were the hottest team in football.
I see where you are coming from but I have been hearing this same thing for the last 3 or 4 years. "Oh they are just stockpiling talent and are setup for a big run." Brady can't play forever.
Knowing anything about the Pats you should know the odds of them keeping McCourt and Bodden both is ehh. Im sure theyll keep the rookie and dump the vet soon enough It is after all the Patriots way
It has nothing to do with that. Using the Colts game as an example, we were very close to losing that game. In the playoffs, which we will make in 2011, it's entirely possible we lose a game just like that in any given year . We had a great opportunity and our guys decided the first half wasn't important. No words.
