If we don't resign them, do u think we'll be headed in to 2011 season with Cotchery as our only WR on roster? Remember, Brad Smith is also a FA this year. We either resign Holmes and/or Edwards, or we bring in reliable replacements.

It seems like the Jets want both Ed and Holmes, with Holmes being the priority. Thats a great decision by Tanny. Why try to cut short Sanchez' development when just lead us to a second AFCCG appearance? On the other hand, Cro can be replaced unless he is willing to take a nice low figure.

I would re-phrase the title. The Jets offense will be very similar because Brian Schottenheimer will still be here, and will still suck. The defense just had holes and is in need of some additional youth and speed.

Next years off season may be very rough because of Revis. He will get his 16.2 million average he wanted the 1st two years of his contract but then it drops in years 3 and 4. Most likely Revis will be putting pressure on the FO to redo his deal next offseason or threaten to playout his last 2 years as we will not be able to franchise or restrict him in anyway after last year in 2013. While he cannot hold out he can simply say sign me this year or in 2013 I will just play it out and see how much I am worth in the Daniel Snyder sweepstakes. Very likely the bill will come due next offseason which would likley put a great deal of pressure on the Jets salary cap situation.
