Okay. As expected, Maine ran out of gas early, but unfortunately it was in the 6th inning, as he's given up a HR, double and triple. It's 4-3 Mets, and Schoeneweis is in to get one lefthanded batter out to keep it that way.

    And he does!

One too many times to the Sosa well, and the Mets are now losing. Pretty bad pitching by Maine, Schoeneweis, and now Sosa.

I have never gotten on Willie, but tonight I will. He has no reason to bring in Sosa, AGAIN. He pitches him every freakin day, what the hell does he expect? He did the same thing his first year when Roberto Hernandez was good, he would pitch him four days in a row until he blew a game. Willie can not manage a bullpen. He over works his pitchers worse then the other guy in NY.

Let's not forget L-Millz diving into first, only the one of the worst plays in baseball.

he wouldnt have been safe anyway. It's amazing, I support Willie, but everytime I watch him just mess up a game, I'm just like wow.

That's not the only reason it's moronic - besides slowing you down, it's very easy to get hurt doing it.

Heilman with the ridiculous recovery from starting the inning giving up a double and a single to not give up a run. Will it matter? Mets need to score against old friend "Free Heath Bell."

Agreed. But it's as bad as when Felipe Lopez did it this weekend and was out due to it.

or not. guess he's really back.

he should really take these DL trips before he sucks for a couple months if he is injured in the future.

He's got all our RBI's in this game.

Billy Wags in a tie game? Hope we get to Hoffman in our half.

I'm relegated to the 1050am updates, the only station I get here in work.

Lovely - Wagner can't find the strike zone.
