Comparatively we threw more downfield, but it still wasn't a lot..

10 of Chad's 21 completions were 10 yards or more downfield... But his Completion % on those throws was about 50%, I'm pretty sure it was either 10/22 or 10/23 on passes over 10 yards, with 1 TD and 3 INTs.... and that includes Smith's spectacular TD catch, and those two ridiculous grabs by Coles.....

It was happening, but the Giants still were not defending against it, because the balls Chad throws that far downfield are so easy to jump and defend...

I don’t see how anyone can see it any other way. NFL Teams have Chad’s number. He as predictable as a 1:00 game time. When you can be angry about a pick before the defender picks it, that’s inexcusable! Sorry we have had many drives to put point on the board that would compensate for our defensive short comings all have seemed to end with a pick! This guy has to be hurt! There’s no other way to explain those meat balls he threw yesterday. I understand he will be the starter but I think that’s a mistake (Who the hell am I). It’s like having a slow leak in your tire eventually you have to do something; either you plug it by inserting Kellen or you Change the tire, Once again by inserting Kellen!

I dont even have the strength nor desire to see how Junc is spinning this one.

I read one line and Junc states that 'Chad has been playing bad for the last 5 quarters now'.

The Jets defense sucks...the running game sucks...the lines both suck...the linebackers suck.

    We all know that.

Those passes yesterday...those floaters.....Im speechless and have given up with this arguement.

Only a fool could defend this guy as qb...just like only a fool can still call Vilma a potential superstar. Yes, its not only Chad...BUT HE IS YOUR QB.

Personally, I cant take watching the guy anymore...I cant take watching his arm go back to throw...and I no longer can wait the 3 hours it takes for the ball to arrive.

I am tired of hearing that with Chad being in the game that's when we have a chance to win, it should be the other way, when he is in that's when we have a great chance to lose.

Like when we had a 2nd ad 14 then 3rd and 12 and we pickd up the first down? did you call that one? or the 2nd and 8 and we picked up 7 then gt the 1st on 3rd down? Was it hilarious how you called that one too? how about the 2d and 8 in the final moments of the 1st half where he completed an 11 yard pass for the 1st- hilarious again? how about the 2nd and 6 where he passed for 17 yards- did yo pick that play? you must be a genius. How about whn we had 1st and 15, 2nd and 16 then 3rd and 16 and he completed a 17 yd pass for the 1st down in the 4th? More hilarity when you knew that was coming? You do realize when it's 2nd and 3rd and long the odds of geting a 1st down go way down, right? it seems to me 5-6-7 chances where we got first downs in those situations is a pretty good day but you somehow knew what was coming- you are certinaly a smart man and should be coaching.

That is a good point, unfortuantely there aren't many rational fans on here b/c they think Chad is the only problem. You don't think Chad would be more effective w/ a good running game and good defense?

This is where you guys think yu know what I am writing but don't actually read what i write. just like in the old herm discussions people thought I never criticied Herm which wasn't true. go back and read the game thread and you'll see plenty of times I criticized Chad, I just do it rationally and I blame him when he deserves it. he played a major role in the 4th qtr killig our chances but we had TWO 2nd half 10 point leads, the D has to step up but instead they allowed long drive after long drive w/ little resistance. Chad is strugging and deserves his share of the blame but it's not all on Chad. Maybe it's time for a change just for the ske of chnge but will that change improve th running agme and D? not likely and that is where our problems start.

Chad gets a huge share of the blame for that mistake, it cost us a chance to come back but we never should have been in that situation. Chad is making too many poor decisions lately and he deserves criticism, just not the unfair blame it all on Chan criticism that we've been seeing.

Are you say that the supposed Einstein of the NFL as made it by most on this board is now making errors & is no longer a Einstein?

You just identified Chad as a "problem". You don't think it should be fixed?

Everyone else is irrational because all they do is blame Chad? People have been screaming about the D about the 3/4, about Nuge, about Jones, about Sutton, about Mangini, about Shot, about the OL and the OL coach and about Chad. The difference is today we have a player on the team who was a 2nd round pick to be the QB of the future and he showed some great skills in limited field time. The fact is we "might" have a solution to the problem of Chad not having a solid arm any more and that fact may be impacting his decission making?

It's you who have taken the wrong headed position that all blame has been put on Chad. There isn't one person on this board who puts all the blame for this teams performance on Chad. You on the other hand have consistently pointed the finger at every other aspect of this team with the exception of Chad up until today.
