    I just checked the yahoo playoff scenario and used this ...

    Jets win (obvisously)
    Jags win
    Steelers or Dolphins (don't matter)
    Pats or Texans (don't matter)
    Ravens win or lose (doesn't matter)
    Broncos win or lose

    and we are teh 5th seed. I've done every scenario and no matter what happens as long as we win we are the 5th seed.

    The Jags and Dolphins are irrelevant at 7-8. All anyone needs to know is that the Steelers and Texans drop off first on conference record (6-6 with victories this week) and we take the 5th seed ahead of the Ravens and Broncos on common opponents. There is no way to finish lower than 5th if we win.
