Man, you think we like corners? I hope this doesn't mean a lack of faith in Lowery. He's not fast enough to be a starter but he has good ball skills.
the guy has big character questions and shows up at pacmans private workout to show support.not smart i wouldn't be anywhere near that guy if i were bryant and people were already questioning my character
Not a huge surprise, but: Mount Cody visiting. http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Terrence-Codys-dance-card-filling-up.html
NFL | Odrick scheduled to meet with three teams Comment (0) Wed, 24 Mar 2010 12:39:54 -0700 Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Penn State DT Jared Odrick is scheduled to meet with the New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys. Read more: http://www.kffl.com/hotw/NFL?page=1#ixzz0j9JjRFln
No offense to Odrick, but I just don't get the feeling he would excel in our system, as opposed to a guy like alualu, or joseph in round 2. Unless a guy drops like a stone, and Kyle Wilson, Iupati or Earl Thomas is staring us in the face, we really need to find a way to slide back and grab an extra selection or two...
Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2010/03/former_rutgers_tackle_anthony.html
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Former Florida Gators safety Major Wright, who many felt declared for the 2010 NFL Draft too early but is nonetheless receiving plenty of attention, has already completed at least three private workouts. Wright has been visited in Gainesville, FL, by the New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns and New York Jets. The Patriots and Browns took a comprehensive look at many former Gators during their respective visits." www.onlygators.com Physical, good build, great in run support- fills alleys well and a big hitter. Little stiff in coverage though and ball skills need work- dude would rather decapitate someone than go pick 6(I've seen it numerous times). Interesting all teams with 3-4 schemes were mentioned here...
There's a limit to the number of prospect visits a team can host, correct? Man, I really hope we bring in Alualu for a peek.
If Anthony Davis somehow drops to our spot is he the BPA no matter who else is still on the board? I understand that it is unlikely but he's been doing nothing but hurting his stock since CFB has been over. I assume he'd be our replacement for Woody correct?
thought this one was mentioned already, but I didn't see it: http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Source-Giants-Jets-to-work-out-Lissemore.html Sean Lissemore
Yeah but also the 21 reps he did at the combine also concerned me some. Seeing as your a giant tackle and was considered a lock top 10 in the beginning you'd figure he'd have more strength than that. I mean McCourty did as much as he did and Davis has 120+ lbs on him. If he was there at 29 i'd trade down with a team that needed a OT like the Raiders or 49ers (if they dont go that way in Rd 1) and get mucho picks for ours.
