Planning the future of the franchise on a gamble that the Jets will have a top five pick, that the ND QB doesn't get hurt, and that if he doesn't another team won't trade up to get him.... BRILLIANT!
u funny penny and the jets. Umm. Tell Cutler when he gets home that he sucks aright. By the way hop off his jock strap.
You talk all big, tell me some of my other posts, learn before you talk, most of my posts are about not taking Cutler. You still haven't answered my question, nice try tough guy.
cutler would be a bust. passing up on the next Willie Roaf is dumb let alone we need more vern davis fans this guy is balla. 4.37 33 reps 42 inch vertical. Come on stop with this cutler thing
I am against Cutler. When I envision the Jets winning the Superbowl. It's with a rock solid defense, great ground game and a QB that is responsible to manage the game. I think in this last SB we all saw that a 'Franchise QB' is not necessary. If we are lucky enough to find one in the later rounds then fine. If we have the 4 and 9 draft Deangelo Williams and Vernon Davis. If either one are off of the board(if we trade down) - take Ryan McNeil.
I agree. We are not going to be great this season or next probably either. So, take D'Brick because he can contribute right away and the team will see improvement immediately at his position. Cutler is not as refined as Leinart already is and he is more of a question mark. There will be good QBs available next year and theres a decent chance that we will be drafting in the top 10 again. I say take Ferguson now, maybe draft a QB in a later round, but focus on improving the one thing that will help our eventual rookie QB, the offensive line.
