The thing about Farve was he didn't seem like he really cared about making the postseason. He was just using us that year to stay in shape before going to his real destination. No need extending the season and taking more hits for this team I don't care about.
I started out wanting Carr... Now all I can think about is G. Wilson snagging 60 yard bombs from Rodgers on the reg.
Wow. I'm surprised its 2-1 Carr over Rodgers as of today. But I guess that's because for me Aaron Rodgers is the clear choice. I can see the advantages Carr could have, but the 2-1 is surprising to me. I think Rodgers gives us a big year this season.
If the question was simply "Who do you want to play QB next year?" then the answer from me is easy. It's Aaron Rodgers. No question. But once you factor in how long the guy has left and the trade compensation, I start to gravitate to Carr. I think Rodgers is the better QB but I am factoring in everything that it entails to acquire them.
I guess my thoughts are that if we get Carr he is our QB for the next 4 years minimum and he isn't exactly a difference maker. Just good enough to keep us from being in a position to draft a QB. Don't get me wrong, if we don't get Rodgers I'm all in on Carr, just see it as a long term commitment to mediocrity.
ROFL ..so far we are getting (drumrolll)..ZERO!!!! Cant buy a Date for the Prom guys ..where will this REJECT team turn to next??? The anticipation killing me hahaha
