no, we won that game with Vinny as our QB. Chad became the starter next year when Vinny went down, the same year we had to beat Green Bay, not the Raiders, to get in the playoffs, wiped the floor with the Colts, and then again got beat by the Raiders.

Mirer, 33, became the starter because the Raiders' top two QBs -- 2002 MVP Rich Gannon and backup Marques Tuiasosopo -- are hurt, Tuiasosopo out for the season with a torn left knee ligament. Oakland did have a steep falloff. Oakland was still favored close to a TD for the game My point as a whole reamins intact. Chad is a winner and has only lost to teams with superior overall talent and coaching.
