Drew Coleman apologists? I assume you're referring to the people who claim that you're not going to do much better for a #5 CB.
Color me guilty then. Name the 5th corner on any NFL team other than the Jets without looking it up. Then tell me why they're better than Coleman.
When you're not going to do much better than Coleman, it makes sense to keep bringing in young talent to try to get better. It defies imagination how this guy remains on the team year-in, year-out. You're right, most 5th CBs in the league aren't good. But in most cases, they either get better and move up the depth chart, or don't get better and are handed their walking papers. Coleman is quite possibly just as bad today as he was the day he was drafted.
I hate Drew Coleman, but I can't imagine I'll ever be happy with our #5 CB. I disagree that he's no better than when he came into the league though, he appeared to suck less the last 2 seasons.
I say that all the time too. Everyone hates on Coleman so much the guy gets paid minimum and hes there for depth. He got owned by Peyton Manning but who the fuck doesnt. He was 1 inch from intercepting a pass that would have changed the game completely but if he did make that int or atleast PD we probably would have won.

He's not getting paid minimum... he signed a tender for around a mill... I really hope Bo Smith takes his place this year... Revis, Cromartie, Lowery, Arenas, Smith, Cole would be sick IMO.
I tend to agree, Revis is overhyped. And trust & believe, if you guys thought Rhodes was a diva, wait until you see Revis this year. He's already shopping himself as a rapper, Mr. Manhattan and trying to do modeling. Emphasis on "trying". Buwwahhhh!

Like Revis said to those New England radio voices, do you know football? Honestly, did you even watch any of our games this year? If you did watch and still say Revis is overrated, then something's really wrong with how you're watching the games man. Honestly, overrated? The terms Revis and overrated are on complete opposites of the spectrum. If anything, Revis is underrated if people are still claiming that Aso and the likes of Woodson, Bailey, etc are better than him, because right now, Revis is the best in the league, and deservedly so.
im 99% sure someone photoshopped it in. Coleman isnt that bad, if it were real that means every single QB to play against him had a perfect rating throwing against him.
