I wish him well. The way he handled himself was admirable. If I were in his situation I doubt I could have handled it gracefully.
I get it, and for a second while I was typing I thought it. But money aside its still tough to take the high road time and time again. They really F'd with him.
Really a shame how it all ended. Good news is Mark will bounce back in 2014. He will start somewhere.
He was a good Jet and because of him I went to fiive post season games of which we won three. I wish him well elsewhere
The kid handled himself with class this season considering being dealt a crappy hand by the organization. I'll always be a fan. Hope the fresh start does him good.
Thanks for the memories, Mark. Personally, the roller coaster rides of 09-10 and 10-11 and the pure joy that it brought us Jet fans will forever be etched in my brain.
I was okay with keeping him until his "I won the competition" comment. If Geno is the QB we need everybody to support him.
Under the assumption you have worked full time, you've never complained about incompetent co-workers?
I think Sanchez in an awful quarterback, but not a bad guy. I wish him well and sincerely hope he somehow winds up starting for a team in our division.
good riddance. i dont hate mark sanchez, i hate the fact that he did not end up being a very good quarterback, and the fact that we moved up to get him and then gave him a huge deal. i hate even more the ball washing that so many on this board did to him. from the MY QUARTERBACK doucheyness from a few years ago to the never ending junc talk. the my quarterback stuff really was far more annoying than junc though.
People lump 2011 and 2012 together as bad seasons, but I thought Mark was pretty good in 2011. Possibly his best season. He had less weapons, yet played well until the final 3 games. People forget the Jets were (8-5) at one point. So, 2012 with Tebow and Sparano ended his favor with the fans. Sad. No win situation for #6. I truly expect him to get a starting opportunity in 2014. If I was a bad team, I would sign Mark, draft a QB, and have Mark start, while young QB learns from him.
