Haha, exactly. Perhaps the easiest way to see that the delusional Sanchez Stans on this message board are completely and utterly full of shit, is to notice that the rankings that they always try and discredit have names like Manning, Brady, and Brees at the top along with names like Sanchez, Harrington, and Russell at the bottom. They essentially want us to believe that it is merely a coincidence that Sanchez's statistical production ranks with some of the worst quarterbacks we have ever seen (which matches what our eyes have long told us), while the top of these "meaningless" lists seem to be always be accurately populated by irrefutably great quarterbacks. It's as if Sanchez is the unluckiest quarterback in NFL history . . . a player whose innate greatness is somehow undocumented by history . . . whose reputation has been irrecoverably harmed by "meaningless" numbers.

    What a fucking joke.

I think the haters need everyone to admit he's the shittiest QB in the history of the world, a buttfumbling faggotheadband wearing crapfest that lost us 2 and possibly 3 Superbowls.

Replete with the totally objective and non- made up stat most dropped INTs ever, the most inaccurate completions ever recorded (I'm sure someone can invent a stat for that), the most unimpressive TD passes ever and fumbles that aren't lost fumbles yet COUNT as lost fumbles because he's also the LUCKIEST QB in history.

We get it, you all hate Sanchez. Who's the first real Jet fan that pulls a Schauby on him and shows up at his house to heckle him. Or tweets him what garbage he is?

Stay classy NY, it's not enough he's gone, he needs to be buried too.

Mods, please change the thread title to "Sanchez REALLY sucks" and let them have their fun.

After all, they've deserved it with the shit hand Sanchez dealt them.

Yeah those things are totally classless and it's really about kicking the man when he's already down. I feel bad for him, he deserved much more.

    In a word: Please.

The guy is enjoying a base salary of 8.25 million dollars this year, following a season in which he was, arguably, the worst tenured, starting quarterback in the NFL. Yeah, he's really been encumbered with terrible hardships. Give me a fucking break.

As a football player fuck Mark Sanchez. It's unfortunate that he got hurt but after last year it was time to move on.

You keep saying this. How did he have 1 bad year when he never put together a season that wasn't filled with inconsistency? He's been an inconsistent QB at best.

Again, Mark thank you the four road playoff wins that many Qbs on much better teams could not accomplish. That is it does not matter how consistent he is was or will be the team is moving on. He accomplished something not many other Qbs in the history of NFL have done win four road playoff games.

(You don't hide your Qb in the playoff)

Now here is to Geno leading us to some home playoff wins.

I really don't know what you're crying about? There has been a troll who has inflamed the debate for months now. Instead of a reasoned football discussion the Sanchez debate has essentially turned into a troll festivous mostly caused by one poster in the Sanchez camp.

Everyone knows Sanchez had some great moments but over the course of 4 years showed himself to be a pretty below average NFL starter who showed little if any growth. It's natural for people to be frustrated and want to move in another direction. The hate is clearly over the top but so is the sanctimonious I'm classy and your not.

Calling other people classless isn't a football argument. It's the argument of a coward who can't make a reasoned argument on its merits. I'm not calling you classless I'm just pretty feed up with the trolling going on. We lost 2 good posters this week because this board has lost it's way. Keep it about football. You have a good handle on the game. Make your arguments on there merits.

that's awesome and those guys are the best but rankings always have other guys near the top too like Tony Romo, Matt Schaub, Philip Rivers, matt Ryan, etc... Guys w/ more talent around them that can't win in January.

They tell us a small part of the story, sometimes the #s and what we see match up but other times they don't and clearly in mark's case they do not.

I saw a different guy this summer, he's an experienced QB w/ a new OC and much more healthy talent than a year ago. I'm not saying he'd have 15 TDs and 2 INts but he would have been better than geno through 4 weeks. There's absolutely no doubt about it. When he had talent he won and this O has healthy talent.

He had one bad year, that's it and that year was w/ the worst offensive talent in the league and Tony Sparano. No QB would have succeeded.

He was good fro a rookie in 2009, a few bad games skew his #s and make people think he was bad

he was very good in 2010

he was good in 2011 w/ a bad ending.

Even as bad as 2012 was we started off well when we were relatively healthy early in the season.

    good rookie year
    top 10ish 2nd yar
mid of the pack 3rd year
    awful 4th year

    2 outstanding postseasons

He'll get another shot to start, I don't expect it to be next year missing the 2013 season w/ a serious injury but if he's healthy he'll get another shot.

Inconsistent and bad are 2 different things, right?

Other than one Sanchez defender here suggesting we'd be undefeated with Mark playing, I think most reasoned posters are wishing the guy well. The one guy suggesting we'd be undefeated brings out the usual suspects declaring him a bust, the worst starting QB in the NFL and all the rest of the BS. It's as if they can't wait for another Sanchez Just Sucks thread. And I don't give a shit about how much money he's made--he's a current Jet AND he's always been a team player.

It's classless and that's NOT a football argument. I don't feel the need to defend the merits of Mark Sanchez's career here that is clearly now over. He gave me some great moments and 2 unforgettable seasons and incredibly exciting post-seasons but he clearly regressed and now he's done.

Constantly dumping on the guy is classless and that's just my opinion.

    That's not a football argument.

It's about having a modicum of class. Let it go.

Find someone other than yourself that has mentioned "buttfumble" or "faggotheadband" other than yourself.

Keep setting up that straw man.

This is where many problems arise. I NEVER said we'd be undefeated, people perceive what they want.

    here is what I said.

Through the first 4 games we would have been at worst 3-1 and had a chance to beat Tennessee.

I also said I don't know if we win that Atl game w/ Mark but people only perceive what they want rather than actually reading posts.

I post reality, it's the anti-Sanchez crowd that makes things up to try to make him look worse than he was.

If people would just read what I post we'd never have issues.

Are you serious? You don't think folks in just about every thread on this board discussing Sanchez have mentioned buttfumble and the "gay headband"?

I'm not talking about this thread--I'm talking about THIS board.

    Lol straw man.
