Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Just say NO !!!!!! Happy Acres Nursing home is calling and Brett, just for you they have added walker Deer hunting to the afternoon schd.....,
I think this would be freaking awesome. Favre is better the any of the qb?s the jets have on the roster. How quickly everyone forgets the fact the we could score points with Favre. I dont wanna hear anything about Ratliff?s pre season passes bla bla bla. Favre> the others. Ray Lewis on the jets would be incredible, ny hasn?t had a firey player since LT. This is what the jets need, they have one of the youngest Defenses in the league. His experience will pay huge down the line. Favre sticking around for another season could help develop Ratliff. Plus next years QB draft is very deep. I think this would be fantastic. And with a few restructures this can work. moving a few signing bonus?s to 2010 ?uncapped season? Moore, Ellis, and other roster bonus?s could be restructured and make the room. GET IT DONE TANNY!!!!!!
Plus no one has a clue about the salary cap, so im tired about people talking about the cap. Its a different fucking number every time its talked about. Tanny's alot of things, but i doubt he'd still have his job if he screwed the Jets like that. Bottom line, if the possibility is there, it'll get done.
Yet another reason to pray nightly that Brett Favre goes away... just goes away, along with his schlong sucking fan base.
Dude. I was never a Favre fan when he was in Green Bay. Never gave a shit about the guy. I didnt even want him to break the TD record. 2 time in my life i rooted for him 97 against the patriots in the super bowl, and this passes season. Never cared for him. But he is the best option at qb that the jets could turn to.
Did I single you out? 13 mil... for an interception machine, when all we need is a QB to hand the ball off in Ryan's offesne.
so if brett comes back we get ray but if favre retires we can get scott ,leonhard(sp) and possibly canty?thanx for the year brett
As much as I like Ray Lewis and would love to have him on the Jets, he is not worth another year of Favre. Time for us to turn the page and go with a young QB (Clemens/Sanchez/Ratliff/Stafford/Freeman) to begin the Rex era.
For some reason, this all reminds me of fateful signings like Ronnie Lott, Leonard Marshall, Steve Atwater...one more paycheck.
Lets make one thing CLEAR here, we have a #52. And thats David Harris, he's the #52 for the Jets for the next 10 years!
Please lord, don't make me have to root for Ray Lewis, please! I've been tested enough rooting for this team all these years. I believe he's sinned Lord, he helped two guys get away with murder, we don't need that on our team. I want him to talk openly about it if I'm to forgive him, but he refuses to, so I can't cheer for him. What's that you say? Yes, sure I like good dancers, but we don't need Ray for that, we already have the Flight Crew.
The Jets need to ask Favre to politely walk away from the game. I wanted Favre back for awhile (still would not boycot the season if he did come back), but it is in the best interest of the Jets for Favre to go away. Ray Lewis? No thanks.
Det4, you wrote this didn't you? You took the Pro Bowl interview with Lewis, which everyone already saw, and took from various sources, information to fit your agenda - the Favre agenda.
