Smith's physical skills impressed me last season. We knew he had the top flight awareness and intangibles Mangini was/is looking for...but he really flew around the field, was physical and made some impressive plays in the passing game. I have no doubt if he continues the strides he made by the end of last season, he will be the starter in 07...and that's a heckuva safety pairing for the long term..
