You could make the argument he's been BETTER than last year since the hammy recovered to 100 percent.
Everyone knows the INT is a sexy stat, but to hold these 4 studs to less than 70 yards TOTAL is kind of sick. All 4 are having Pro-Bowl type seasons.

Untill you factor in that QB's are not even throwing his way, no matter how good the receiver is. Revis Island is shrinking every year.

    exactly.

When you force teams to play 10 on 10 football, its plays into the hands of the defense.

Cro makes it 9 on 9. That's even more unfair and its a big reason why they are 9-2

I love how many people just assume "since Revis was so good last year, it'll never happen again"

He's just as good as last year, maybe even better, people just don't want to believe it because he was injured early.

Revis is only 25, he can get better.

Spot on 624. I have to admit that when the hamstring went I feared he'd slip to being somewhat average but his hamstring has recovered (a darn sight quicker than mine ever did after my tragic accident in the Parent's Race at school sports day!!) and he's actually better right now than last year.

Big deal Mevi$ is barely earning all that money the Jets gave him. It's about time Mevi$ started playing well.

Edit: I just wanted to say Mevi$ hopefully that will be the last time we ever see it.

How is he supposed to intercept if he's not getting thrown to? he's so good that QB are scared to throw it his way.

That would be because once he got injured his job literally became rehabbing that hammy. I assume you had an actual job to go to during the 8 hours a day he was probably rehabbing.

I think his post was just veiled attempt praying someone would ask him what the hell was "the Parent's Race at school sports day" and how did he get hurt..........nothing more.

The one thing to keep in mind is that those numbers are when Revis was covering them, they don't include their entire game's numbers. For example Jennings wound up with 6 catches for 81 yards in the game and Andre Johnson 4 catches for 32 yards. Therefore you'd have to also look at any other catches that other receivers made when he was on them. I'd doubt it's very much though. Regardless, he's back to 100% now and that's better than any other CB in the league.

That's like trying to fish in the middle of a desert.....if the opportunity isn't there, it can't happen.

What you're missing in your post is that they don't throw to them because they aren't open.

i dont think you will ever meet a corner that complains he doesnt get thrown to enough... if balls arent coming your way, you are doing your job.

I believe Asomuga is the least thrown at corner in the league.QB's dont even consider his side of the field.Congrats on your first post btw!

Clearly we're seeing he's just as good as last year now that his hamstring is healthy.
