Haha woops sorry to have stated the same thing right after you, guess we were writing it at the same time. It's amazing that these guys would risk the consequences, just to hit a guy who is 3 feet out of bounds and irrelevant in the play.
Well this bites. Even if Rex finally comes out to the podium, we'll have 12 questions about Sal Alosi. Here's a thought - it's not illegal to line up like that on the sidelines. Tripping the guy is the offense.
The link is down now on newyorkjets.com. I closed my browser and re-opened it and there's no link to the presser now
I don't think anybody ever intended to hit the guy per se. They most likely wanted to get him to stop running out of bounds up the Jets sidelines. what they did was dumb - and alosi acted like an idiot if he was the ringleader in this stunt. MORONIC. But i doubt he was thinking: gee lets trip this guy in front of 35 cameras and national tv audience. Anyway - Its pretty much irrelevant.
Exactly... I actually think it's a very smart thing to do that when guys try to not get caught while going out of bounds... the stupid mistake was tripping him.
