Eric Smith is no superstar but he wouldn't be starting if he wasn't better than whatever else we have. It hurts us. ...and it wouldn't be exploring if Harris wore it, like I said above, he did it last year. That article was from last year, referencing the point I made that it was Harris, not Scott, who called the plays last year.
At least this time we know ahead of time, so we can gameplan for it. I just found an article, it was Harris. I forgot the reason. Maybe Scott isn't in every personnel grouping, or is too emotional or something.
You know, I'm just not seeing the problem with this no matter who did it. They probably saw on tape, that the Phins gunners routinely go all the to the sideline to avoid the contact down the field, and recognize it's almost never going to get called.
the lack of Safety depth hurts us......that's on the coaching staff. It's like if Sanchez goes down.....there's nobody below him on the depth chart that would scare any defenses.
While searching for proof, I saw that we were without Leonhard last year when we played the Pats away. 2 years in a row, just thought that was interesting. So with Leonhard we're 2-0 against the Pats without 0-2
I don't think it's the coaches fault that we don't have a solid starter 4 men deep into the safety rotation. What team does? Again, with QBs....what team has a backup that scares anyone?
Phil Simms said that other than the PI call in the NE game, he was arguably our best defensive player on the field....jus sayin
Your buddy Michael Vick was a backup to start the year too..........by the way, you better start him this week.
I give up, I think maybe I wondered why Scott wasn't calling them. At least we have some time to practice with the replacement this time.
I seriously doubt that the outcome of that game would have been significantly different if Lhenoard was there.
I will definitely start him over my concussed Aaron Rodgers. ...not that it matters, I missed the playoffs by one game thanks to a poster I will leave unnamed.
Vick played well the last two weeks....you should've listened...instead of starting that popcorn fart, Aaron Rodgers. anyway....we're fftopic: Harris should do fine with the playcalling....it's not like this isn't his first rodeo with the headset in his helmet.
I dunno, it's not like there were no bad plays before that, but the PI on Smith opened the floodgates. Having said that, it's not a good thing he's out. Injuries are really piling up now. That can hurt a team, you know.
