Gate D was the greatest show in sports. Looking back, the NFL today should have set up a remote studio overlooking it every week. The best is when you read posts from the people that went to the games all those years and never knew about it. lol.
Generally, it's not good parenting to bring your three kids into enemy territory decked out in enemy colors. They should have known better. But one thing I can't tolerate is people putting their hands on other people at games. Say what you want, but don't throw anything or touch anyone.
She waited a year to file this? I was in 111 but I did not see anyone tossed over seats. Sounds like BS to me, that section was pretty calm compared to other places in the stadium. They should find the guy who made the video and get his take on the events. I am sure they can locate season ticket holders in the area through the discovery process in any lawsuit. From what I remember from last years thread people were pissed that she was holding the sign and obstructing their view and had asked her to not show it, she continued so they ripped it up, she retaliated with her shoe.
Agreed. We're not sure if she took the first swing though. That video doesn't show anyone even hitting her back. Can I sue if I don't WANT to sleep with my wife?
Who knows if this was them or not (certainly looks like it), but this woman clearly was blocking other fans' view with that sign. I'd be pissed too, and probably would have been in her ear to put it down. But putting your hands on another person, under any circumstances, is crossing the line.
Alleging loss of sex, or loss of consortium in legal terms, is a standard additional claim whenever the plaintiff has suffered personal injury. And waiting a year is not weird. Perhaps they were trying to negotiate a settlement in the interim.
if something this petty is worthy of a lawsuit than there should be about 100 at every game each year. wonder if shes related to anthony munoz.
None of the allegations are in this recording. "The team's famously rowdy fans pounced on Michelle Munoz". No pouncing, mostly defensive moves from her whacking them with her shoe. "...fans punched and kicked the girl's mom..." "...threw beers at her 14-year-old daughter..." "...suffered cervical spinal injuries when she was tossed over a row of seats..." Munoz continues to suffer "great bodily pain and mental anguish." Being that she's a Pat's fan, the mental anguish part is believable. From just the video it looks like she held up the sign, some Jet's fan ripped it from her hands and then she went postal. Where's her hubby defending her?
You cannot come into the meadowlands while the Jets are playing, with a Tom Brady sign in front of someones view and not expect to get it ripped out of your hands. We are the most rude, vulgar, rowdy crowd behind oakland and phili.
backaches and headaches are the litigants favourite because its pretty much impossible to disprove that you are not suffering from one of them. same with stress walk around in a neck brace for a week or two - kerching $$$$$$$$$
and fantastic parenting by showing your kids its ok to take off your shoe and swing recklessly at people. Not to be over the top but woman lately have been overstepping their boundaries when it comes to putting their hands or swinging at men. Some of these girls/women think that a guy wont hit a woman but there are plenty of men out there who will haul off ( I do NOT condone hitting women, at all)
Cervical injuries Cervical (neck) injuries usually result in full or partial tetraplegia (Quadriplegia). However, depending on the specific location and severity of trauma, limited function may be retained. C3 vertebrae and above : Typically results in loss of diaphragm function, necessitating the use of a ventilator for breathing. C4 : Results in significant loss of function at the biceps and shoulders. C5 : Results in potential loss of function at the shoulders and biceps, and complete loss of function at the wrists and hands. C6 : Results in limited wrist control, and complete loss of hand function. C7 and T1 : Results in lack of dexterity in the hands and fingers, but allows for limited use of arms. C7 is generally the threshold level for retaining functional independence. if any of those injuries happened, you would HAVE to go to hospital...
