The only reason why I like the Ravens against the Pats, is their running game, the Pats are having a hard time stopping the run. If the Ravens do not commit stupid penalties I see them winning the game.
The ravens are going after Brady like mad dogs and Brady doesn't have that sure safety valve anymore with Welker, so they are ripe for the picking. And please dont be dumb like fatboi and say edelman=welker.
No I am saying this is because after the 3-0 start everyone here said Division Title 14-2, 13-3 etc. Then when they 1-6 everyone was saying SOJ, we shouldve gotten a veteran qb to start and tutor sanchez etc etc, then after they got to 7-6 most people were thinking well the Colts will rest thier starters so they should be able to beat them and they lost to the falcons so since their in the playoffs lets just take it one game at a time as fans.
I for one watch fan game film weekly, I have to learn their schemes when visiting opposing teams stadiums. Figure out their weak points and go for the attack.
i'm not saying edleman = welker, but he did do a damn good impersonation of welker against us. so its not like he's expected to play a role he isn't familiar with. so i don't think it fair to say brady has no safety valve.
I'll speak for myself only - I expect the Jets to win on Saturday, but that's it. If there is a game at the meadowlands i'll find a way to go. You are right though. The SOJF will come out and bash this team if they lose at any time in the playoffs by a close margin. They're stupid fans.
I'll also add that Flacco ruined expectations. He got to the AFCC as well, and nearly pulled that off before a HOF safety put that game away for good. I'm not shocked people think this team could do the same.
ravens/jets would indeed be sick but, if playing the colts in inevitable, then i would prefer to play them next since they haven't played in 3 weeks and will be a bit rusty the first qtr.
Sal-Pal has been open with his JETS fandom in the past....... once I heard on the radio doing a JETS pregame at the meadowlands, saying "these are my people. The brown bag crew, not the blue blood fanbase of the Giants" (paraphrasing) I was driving home to watch the game and started going nuts in the truck...... it was few (several?) years ago.
Yep, he's long been a Jets homer. I can remember him saying that the Jets had the best offense in the league the week after we beat Indianapolis 41-0. He was predicting multiple superbowls for Pennington and stated several times on The Sports Reporters (Sunday Morning ESPN show) that he would end up being better than Brady.
