The point is Sanchez made a good call, Plax just didn't make the catch. The same can be said if the play called was a running play & the rb fumbled the ball. It's not the play called it's the execution of the play that counts...that being said...schItty still sucks.
I've watched it 4 times. 1 Glaring mistake, and I wonder if it was play call, or Sanchez. The Strip sack. Snap. Keller blocks, releases Sanchez NEVER looks right is waiting on Plax to make a double move down the field and outside the numbers. Sack/Strip by a cb. I tend to think Play call because Keller is standing flat footed. The other possibility is Keller over thought a designed play and released when he shouldn't have. If we had a REAL F*NG sports media, someone would have asked about it. Keller was wide open and would have gone for a first. But Body language says he was not expecting $#it.
Why does everyone gloss over that Sanchez was under extreme pressure the entire game. The Jets could not run worth a damn the entire game and Sanchez was drilled 10 times (4 sacks and 6 hits). Plus, the Jets played from behind the entire game and had to pass. Let's face it. The offense in that game was put entirely on Sanchez against a (Rob) Ryan defense that was sending the house and OL did a lousy job. In spite of this, Sanchez threw for 300 plus and 2 td's. Yes, he made two mistakes, but you have to put his night in context.
