i disagree. I think Schotty's system is perfect for Sanchez. i just think theyre barely ever in sync. when Sanchez is making good throws, Schotty throws in a weird playcall that disrupts the rhythm. when Schotty is making calls to carve defenses up, Sanchez is making short throws and missing open reads downfield or forcing passes when the 2nd and 3rd option have a better play on the ball. theres blame to be shared. thats for sure. thats why I keep harping on this year will be very telling for both of them. Schotty has never had a qb this long since hes been here. i think that says alot too. just with no offseason and all the new targets, this defense will have to step up for the first 6 weeks big time till the offense can actually start to gel.
A couple of things to temper the anxiety over the offense looking so bad Sunday. They had not practiced for 3 days. I know it is not any consolation but Eli looked even worse. It takes the oline weeks to get them to work as a cohesive unit. That was the first game together. Granted the line is largely intact from last year, they still the work. Look they have a long ways to go to become a good offense, unfortunately circumstances dictate there are going to be a considerable amount of questions come that first game. Fact of the matter, there are quite a few Olines that look putrid this year. The truncated offseason is going to make for some rough offenses for the first few weeks.......
You tell that fucking idiot, the nerve of him calling Sanchez a Dick. Jesus what is this poster thinking? That there is a freaking hilarious classic 4 page thread on this very subject.......unreal you tell him man.
My Mature Quarterback. I still think nitpicking on the kid is useless. Experience is still what he needs to put it all together. 2 seasons isn't enough - ask anyone who knows football.
i think the gq pictures proved that he's too immature to handle fun on his own. he needs to be supervised at all times.. by mangold. from the photobombing incidents, it seems like this plan is already underway.
They can do stand up routines in the huddle for all I care. Let's laugh ourselves right to the Super Bowl.
I thought Sanchez looked a bit frustrated after checking down on one or two throws the other night. I'm thinking he's not crazy about that idea.
