I always had the feeling these guys would implode. A locker room full of "me guys" all looking for a payday. It was a matter of time before things started to crack, especially since decisions were having to be made on contracts, who to keep, etc. Also last year they got hot and dominated down the stretch but during the regular season throughout most of it, they won and lost some games they shouldn't. I don't think they were necessarily AS good as they looked in the playoffs.
I wrote this on Saturday when the rumor of Harvin not getting along with Wilson came out, and I still feel the same way: I do want to say though, Russell Wilson came across to me as a self-important, self-congratulatory, judgemental douche canoe hiding behind the veil of being saved by Jesus in his article on Jeter's new site. He always struck me as a harmless "good guy" in a sea of over-aggression, but after that article the only thing I could think was, "man, how has nobody f*cked this guy up yet" and, "how has this guy gotten people to follow him like the pied piper?"
Apparently, Marshawn is on their shit list as well....... http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2014/10/26/7072639/marshawn-lynch-seattle-seahawks-division
Lynch being on the outs doesnt shock me too much after he held out of training camp. He's 28 plus Christine Michael is good enough to be a starter for them. Doesnt make much sense to keep Marshawn on for that money. Its crazy how fast that team is coming apart though. And even more crazy that these reports on coming out in Week 8.
Teams like this seem to have a short shelf life. Remind me of the 86 Bears who imploded soon after they won their lone SB.
