Maybe I could see Trade 4 if neither holmes or Edwards are brought back, but I like keeping all of those guys, at least for now
I'm personally a big Beason fan but I'm a bigger Revis fan so i went neither even though i would say that i think was the most even trade for both parties respectively.
Nick Mangold was a steal. The reason why those trades look so good is because of how good the picks were used.
If I could do trades 1 and 3 at the same time I would be tempted. John Abraham would solve our pass rushing problem. We have Cromartie and Wilson to replace Revis. We swap all-pro centers. We also get another pro bowl linebacker in Beason.
The problem with this setup is timing. The Jets drafted Mangold and Brick the year before Revis, so they would have not gone for Khalil...and so on.
We clearly won on all those trades all of those guys are pretty much our core players you can add the Sanchize trade to this as well since he was aquired via trade. While a few of those options are good players to undo any of those trades would make us mediocre at best a huge drop from my perspective.
Sanchez trade is in there. You might be referring to Braylon and Santonio, but we didn't draft these players. My whole point of this thread was that people keep on complaining about us moving up in the draft and losing value, but Im sure most of the people will agree (as the poll suggests), that we are willing to give up multiple picks for our guys.
