If we give up that much to get Leinart I will become physically ill. I cannot imagine a worse move for the Jets. Taking away the fact that I think Leinart will not be an elite QB, you have a great chance for him to be there at 4 anyway. If they do this trade you are saying that Leinart has more value to the Jets than Mario Williams, Mangold and Brodie Croyle COMBINED. That is ridiculous. Please Tangini do not do this.
I do realize that Tangini are not Bill or Bill but they will be using the same playbook to manage this team, basically thats why they got the job. That said, taking a page out of the Bill and Bill playbook, they are not going to show their hand until draft day. I don't know if anyone knows this, but did Bill or Bill ever package picks to trade up for a player? I'd be suprised if either of their teams did while they were in the Head Coach spot.
