I woulda had our boys out in the snow last night and today practicing gettin ready for the conditions!
I really hope we can control the game with our running attack and most importantly, not turn the ball over. I think Favre will have a good solid game as snow is nothing new to him. Hope the coaches have a good gameplan ready right from the get-go. One of the main reasons why we have lost on the west coast is due to very slow starts on both sides of the football. And the last time I saw Feely kick in Seattle, it was a nightmare day for him. He's been solid in recent weeks but with the snow, wind, frigid temperatures, and an open end to the stadium, I don't relish a dogfight with the Seahawks and have it come down to a field goal.
:rofl::rofl: Or maybe that beauty of a play with the lateral that we started off the denver game and cotchery fumbled ...
Come to think of it, I don't know if I've ever seen that. Of course they played in a dome for a long time, but even since then. I don't know if snow is in their climate.

any type of percipitation usually hurts the more talented team, because it neutralizes the speed and quickness of the more talented players. so therefore advantage seahawks.
You'd think that we could get that or something if we're going to build a brand new stadium and not have it even start until 2010 when it looks almost done now.
We had snow here in south Texas last week. I saw 2 feet of snow on the beaches of Biloxi, Mississippi in 1993. Nothing will surprise me.
That staduim is freaking awesome. As far as the snow, it's effect on the running game kinda scares me. Then again Favre is supposed to play better in cold winter type weather. Maybe he'll actually come out and play like a HoF for once.
I just read somewhere on the web that Mangini has had them practicing indoors the last 4 days with half hour shorter practices. That should toughen em up and get them ready for the cold in seattle. Also Favre didn't participate much in practice except a few drills. Maybe he really is hurt.
Hope I'm Wrong, hope to God I'm wrong, but if we are the better team we will play down to their level and may very well lose, don't want it, but wouldn't be surprised..............hmy:
i was listening to the FAN today...and the host said something along the lines of: "I don't want to hear about the weather. I don't care if golf balls are falling from the sky, or there is a blizzard. I don't care if locusts are falling from the sky and pelting players. The Jets are the better team and should win no matter what." It was classic and so true. that being said...i actually feel the jets have played down to the competition and have been burned for it...i dont think that will happen this weekend and sense a blowout
turk i will guarantee that was joe benigno. just something only he would say they have been playing down to their competition all year and hopefully that trend will change!
