The league apologized to the Jets. There is no doubt about it. It's just not going to be announced publicly.
Care to elaborate on that one? I'm not some kind of IE hater by any means, but I rather like Firefox.
You didn't hear? We got the W..The refs agnowlaged ther erer, so they gave us the TD and the 2 point converzion as well..
No, none of those "other" browsers for me. You guys do realize Opera/Firefox/et al are all just build on TOP OF IE right? However, they all open up virus holes. I'll stick with IE. At least IE's shortcomings I know about. Also, since I'm a software developer, I do not put too many 3rd party things on this pc.
I just received the call back from the Commissioner's office. They said that the spelling of our new poster is the equivalent of, well equivalent of nothing, it's just so damm unique. Spell check please- you gave me a headache....
In my attempt to tie in the two main discussions within this thread, I'll just mention that the new Firefox 2.0 has a built-in spell checker.
This is one of the most entertaining threads I've read on here. Spelling is overrated anyway, text messaging has taught the new generation that spelling doesn't matter. U dig? On topic, it was a judgement call and it's over. Nothing we can do about it now except be glad it wasn't for or in the playoffs.
I want the Jets to be good enough some day, so even the refs can't stop us. That would be soooo cool.
You do realize you are wrong? Firefox isn't built on top of IE at all. It uses MFC for windowing purposes but everything else isn't. Also, thinking that firefox is less secure than IE is just the most ridiculous thing i've ever read.
Yea, agreed. Not to mention what Mangini has said repeatedly and is correct to point out: the focus should be on the other 130 plays that weren't executed to a high enough level to ensure that the game's fate didn't hinge on one play.
