Just to shut the freakin' mouths of my son, my 6-yr old granddaughter, nephews, in-laws, neighbors, co-workers, bodega owners, the local crack & meth heads (all Giants fans), the local liquor store-owner (Steeler fan), my cuzzin' - who was the best man @ my wedding -(fan of any "hot" team of the moment) & any other "low-life" who rags my beloved JETS! I just wanna' talk maddd sh#t to WHOMEVER Jet-Haterz if & when they win a SB!! 'Nuff said!
Was expecting more positive responses but I guess this is the way it goes. I still love being a Jets fan though!
oh dont get me wrong, we all love being jet fans. we love our team, but truth is truth, and the truth is jet history is not kind. hence, the darksider/somewhat realist look at things. we tend not to get too excited too early bc we have a long history of being let down. lets hope this year changes it tho. and my thought on this: being a jet fan to me, is like if i were a musician and had the most #2 singles with no #1's. if we keep fighting tho, that #1 will be bigger than almost any #1 ever.
Right now, that phrase means 'Rex Ryan' to me. I think he is a great coach and will have success here and I hope eventually you can't say Jets without thinking of Sexy Rexy.
I hope means getting it done and producing the BEST team they can out there but they may need to spend some $$$$ on some positions to be where the fans want them to be a 12 to 14 win team so we can breath during the year and worry about the playoffs when they come . . . . until then we have to sit tight
