You are right, the AFC is loaded. So we just have to beat the Pats, Colts, Titans, Texans, and Dolphins when we play them, and let the chips fall after that. Can we do it? Maybe. Possibly. Probably. Definately! Hell Yeah!! :metal:

This has no chance of happening. 9-7 maybe. At least make it interesting.

Pencil me in at 7-9. We have rookies at two of the most important positions on the field. That would be HC and QB. The rest of the AFCE didn't stand pat as we snatched up Sanchez and we still have questions that need answers this year. With any "luck", Tanny doesn't dump any more DP's and drafts for need in 2010 instead of BPA. Our schedule is tougher and our depth is thinner on both lines.

I look for Sanchez to learn fast but not fast enough to salvage 8 or 9 wins this season. I'm just hoping we wind up with a 1st rd pick somewhere between 10-20 where we can fill needs without breaking the bank. Our run starts in 2010.

A tough start is going to put us out it from the get-go.

We are starring at 0-4 to start (rookie QB & tough schedule).

    6-10 or 7-9

    If we had last year's schedule...i'd say 11-5 would've been a safe bet.....but we don't.

So i think it will be a 7-9 season.

I want to agree with your observations, but I think 8-8 would be the very worst that we finish. IMHO I think 9-7 /// 10-6 is VERY realistic.

8-8. Sanchez keeps developing and we beat the Pats once this year.

Assuming no upgrade at wideout, 6-10.

I think I'll be optimistic and go with 8 wins.

Some breaks could get the team to 8 wins.

The Jets seem to rarely get breaks, though.

It occurs to me, how often can posters here think back to a season when the team did siginificantly better than expected?

    But I understand that's a different question...

I don't see the Phins as being a threat, as Chad will be pressured and we all know he doesn't do well in those situations.

    2 wins

Buffalo is a huge question mark so I'll say

    1 win

If the Texans line plays like it did last night, pencil that in for a win with a possible Matt Shaub injury - Win

    Saints .... Win

NE I'm going to say is 2 losses.

    Raiders? Win win win

Tampa - Qbs are dreadful Win

    Cincy - Win

So at bare minimum in my eyes...8 wins.

Texas was playing a team that is a real SB contender yesterday, we don't even begin to have the kind of weapons that MN does. The Texans are a big notch down from MN but a serious on the cusp contender for a playoff spot. This game will tell alot about our team. Anyone who thinks this is an automatic on the road is nuts.

Phins were a product of a easy schedule last year. Kind of like '06 Jets. I see them going 4-12 with Chad getting hurt. Jets will sweep them and go 7-9 if Lito doesn't improve. 10-6 if he does.

I wouldn't call it an automatic but that line is porous. It gives us a good chance of beating them. Yeah they got dre and mario...great.

    Hell, Shaub is already hurt.
