Thats basically the abyzmul award, but he's really not a trash talker, because being a trash talker is more bragging and shit. All he does is make people cry.
I would like to get started a little early this year. I'm not talking about actual awards or anything, but I would like this to be completely organized by January 1st. I know it's still two months away, but I want this year's awards to be the best. I would like to have a couple people (mods and regular posters) get a "commitee" together and get a set of rules, discuss new awards, etc. Last year, there was a lot of BS throughout the awards which sort of messed up the candidates. I want that gone. This year I would like a certain amount of seriousness. Like I said before, we don't need to start now, but I would like to start in December.
To get it started off, here is the list of awards, and the bold are the ones I'm thinking of getting rid of. And no, I haven't forgotton about nightowltom, the award will be named after him. And I would like to incorporate his memory into these awards.
Yeah that is what I was thinking about doing. Not unless one of the photoshop gurus want to make a thing like the BS Bowl.
We have the monthly photoshop comps for that, but it still makes sense to have a "Best Graphics Award".
"Aussie of the year" could be renamed to "International poster.." to include the UK folks and any non American posters. Post whore should stay, I got my vote ready for that one.
I was also thinking about Meanest Poster award. What is the point in having it? We all know who is going to win. :lol:
Also, there has always been controversy over Rookie of the Year Award. I have always been strict, as in only people who joined in whatever year the awards are, they are the only elgible ones. But I was recently in my PMs, and found several members who asked to be elgible since they joined later in the year. I'm thinking about extending elgibility to maybe October of 2005. Thoughts?
