I thought Buttle willingly stepped aside as commish somewhere in these 17 pages. I didn't realize the commish spot was grabbed by the first guy to set up the league. I vote Buttle back on as commish, he's the reason I joined the league in the first place.

First order of business has to be on who will be the 12th team. I will be sending out the pm today.

Its obvious that the Holds stat is still a point of contention. Here is a list of all of the pitching stats that Yahoo has. If anyone believes that there is another stat that can replace Holds that fits within the scope of the league then please let us know.

I would prefer that we stick with the standard 5x5 categories, mostly because I don't see another pitching category worthy of playing with.

 

I agree with you and was part of the point I was trying to make. Its one thing to get rid of a category and another to replace with a viable one.

 

I like holds.but would accept IP.
I don't want to lose any offensive categories.

As someone who hates adding and dropping pitchers as a last-ditch strategy, adding IP is going to make it that much more worthwhile

I'd MUCH prefer standard 5x5, but if OBP has to stay, anything among K/9, K/BB, Losses, Walks would be fine

 

not when your not allowed to add or drop players during the playoffs.

there should be a transaction deadline just like the trade deadline.this way to prevent stealing of championships.

Voice shouting up from the lower league, but you'd be better off with K/BB ratio than just plain walks or, ugh, holds.
