I am the Mighty Ones. It was no rape. I offered you a deal and you accepted it. There was no gun held to your head to accept. It was your decision. But because you werent sure of something about the draft, you asked for it to be vetoed and it was. There wasnt a counter offer or anything after that. At ESPN, it automatically blocks off the first 6 rounds. To me, that says that everyone first 6 picks are protected but now I dont get a first round pick? According to the last years final rankings, after eliminating the deleted teams, I finished 14th out of 16 teams. That means I should pick 3rd in the first round. You're telling me that I would rather have Jason Witten than Manning or James or Harrison or Portis. Please. I would have dropped my whole team if I could.
Last point. This was the only thing that I could find in this thread about how the drafting would work in regards to the amount of keepers each team keeps. I'm just saying that no where in this thread or on the web site does it say that you forfeit picks for keeping the max players. The way how the draft would work was not settled until the other day when the order was stated by the commish. So the root of this is, I am asking the commish to allow me (and any other team confused) the chance to drop a player to recoup our first round pre-draft pick due to the confusion of the issue. You had a month and 1/2 to ask about this and you failed to do so. So why should I even allow this? It's not my fault you guys don't get active until the day before. I don't get how you guys even think you'd get rewarded for having more guys kept, yes I was unclear then but I didn't post what my decision was but all you had to do was ask what it was and nobody did so just deal with it.

I know you were active but things like this happen when no one asks about it, I'll admit I wasn't on the ball the entire time but you have to admit that you could of asked about it in order to clear things up and besides the draft would have to be offline if I did it the other way because ESPN has 6 rounds to start and they can't have null picks.
WT, I understand difficulties of running a league, especially a keeper and trying to keep every one involved. It is difficult thing to do and I truly respect what you are trying to do but.. How am I supposed to ask a question about something that no one has any idea about? The last thing that I knew about regarding the draft is that since I had one of the worst records remaining, I would have a top pick even with however many keepers I had. There was never anything said to anyone about if you keep 6 keepers you dont participate in the pre-draft or 5 keepers you just get a 2nd rd pick in the pre draft etc... If it had been brought up, then yes, I would asked to get clarification otherwise my belief that a draft would happen as a normal draft would. Proof of this is the trade I offered to Smizzy. I honestly thought that the trade was for the his 7th round pick. not his first round. Which is part of the reason why I couldnt understand why it would get vetoed. You are the commish. I asked you for a ruling and to consider something and you gave me your ruling. If the ruling stands then I dont think I want to continue with the league. This is all about having fun and if you're not having fun than why continue and so far, its been more of a chore for me. I think Drew feels the same way I do so if both of us drop out, it will give you 14 teams which is enough to continue. Good luck to you all.
To Buttle and Drew. I kinda felt like we should allow you to dorp an extra guy but you both only have 5 keepers anyways so you had in mind not to keep everyone and dropping 1 isn't going to improve your spot that much. If you had 6 I would suggest letting you drop one each. To WT - Who are the Wombats?
Fine since I wronged Buttle twice I'll allow him to drop 2 players and Drew gets to drop 1 just tell me who and I'll do it. How hard is it to ask how the draft works but whatever Smizzy asks when he doesn't know. If you have any issues just ask that's all. Wombats is devil, I think.
