ok...i already know that..but im talking about later round etc etc...they have identity..for the most part these teams dont trade away picks for anybody, are not big free agent spenders and will develop player they already have instead of finding immediate replacements...every year were looking for players in free agency/trade market to replace players that were just drafted...
There's no such thing as a blueprint to the Super Bowl. There are a hundred different ways to get there, and win it. The Ravens had a "game-manager" in Dilfer and won it, The Pats drafted a franchise, HOF QB and won it, the Packers traded for Favre and won it. The 49ers won with offense, the Bears won with defense (or at least got there on defense, I think it was a blowout). 42 top-five defenses have played in the Super Bowl. How many top-five offenses? 45. Almost even. You can pick any one Super Bowl winner and say "That's how you win a Super Bowl". After every Super Bowl we see a thread that says "If it's one thing that the Super Bowl taught us, it's..." and the bottom line is it's just not that cut and dry. A team can win on a botched snap, does that mean they knew how to win, or that they knew how to build a Super Bowl caliber franchise? If it were so simple, if there were a formula to winning, the league would not have teams that never made it there and the Jets wouldn't be in a 4 decade drought. With that, I'm gonna go sober up, lol.
