Okay, I didn't have enough posts before to see the links but I do now. I only looked at the table and all I can say about that is, you can't win if you don't play.

Coming from following the Pac for a number of years now...let me add, (and no offense, guys) Chad who?

I does not suprise me in the least. CP could always throw the deep ball, it was just his retard OC's that would not let him.

Just ask yourself what these stats really mean in the grand scheme of things. Do they directly relate to scoring more points? Think about more than just that number in the INT column, and more than what is shown on that little chart. Does this chart tell us which QB can really hurt defenses?

What was the score of the game?
How much time was left in the game or half?
Was INT caused by a deflection?
Did the INT result in a score by the opposing team?
How many TD's were also thrown?
    How many points were scored?
Did the team win the game?
How many underneath routes opened up because the defense had to respect a pass 30-40 yards downfield?
Did the running game benefit from the same threat?
Did any of those underneath routes or running lanes that opened up result in points? First downs?
What's more important, scoring points or not throwing interceptions?
What's more important, passer rating or scoring points?
Does throwing a pass more than 20 yards mean you can make all the throws?
If you can't make all the throws does that mean defenses will cheat to take away the throws you can make or the running game?

IMO 100% on the money. We've all seen Chad throw the deep ball once in a while, and I don't think the deep throws are really his flaw. It's the fact that he throws rainbows on an out pattern giving the DB plenty of time to react. Anyway after 8 years we all know what Chad can and can't do, and he's not a Jet anymore so shame on me for continuing the discussion, lol.

    Well-played, Rob.

As others have noted, the pass that Chad could never make was not the rainbow bomb, but the out, a pass that counts as a 10-15 yard pass, but is actually 25-30 yards in the air and on a line, or the 10-15 yard bullet across the middle in traffic. You won't find bad statistics for him on those passes, because he never tried them.

Anyone who has watched the torturous 12-play, 6 minute, 63-yard drives for a field goal in the 4th quarter (while losing by 10) that the Jets have specialized in for years knows the truth, and any attempts to dispute it are just stupid.

To quote Sherlock Holmes, this is a classic case of "the dog that did not bark" (no bark because the dog wasn't there; no data, because the passes are not attempted).

They should also include...YAC*...yards after a concussion...which for most of our receivers is a blessing considering how many of them almost got killed waiting for his passes to arrive.

So Coles and Chrebet and Cotchery suck, huh? Smurfs?

I guess Favre doesn't stand a chance with this group.I guess maybe I shouldn't bother to watch the upcoming season... It will be a Titanic failure!!!
