Really, dipshit? You clearly have no idea what the word plausible means. It means your rush defense is fucking awful, and we're going to run it right down your throat. Consider this--you usually got up early and forced teams to throw it--AND YOU STILL RANKED NEAR THE BOTTOM in rush yards allowed. You're a fucking moron. The Jets aren't an average team, but I bet you hold Sanchez under 212 yards passing.
I don't care if you averaged 300 a game. You're not running for 170+ on the Colts. It's not going to happen. The only way you guys will be able to win this game is to put the ball in the air. I keep hearing that you guys are going to run the ball 40+ times. Hell you might not have 45 plays total in this game. You will have to throw the ball.
You will see what I talking about tomorrow. You're not listening to me and you have reason or care to hear my point of view. This Colts rush defense is not average. There is a ton of deception in those numbers. When we want to stop the run, we stop the run.
I feel like I've heard this argument before, in the last 2 playoff games we've won. There was no way we would be able to do that against San Diego as well, look where we are.
Did you want to stop the run against the fucking Rams? Who gashed you for 155 yards and a 5.2 YPC average? Against the Dolphins? 239 and 5? No?
If we averaged 300 a game we would still not be able to run for 170? That's like saying, since we allow our opponent to get 14 PPG, if we averaged 28 a game, the Colts wouldn't even get 4 points on us.
There's no way you can deny you're really undersized though going into this game. I mean like Mathis on Woody? That's an 85 pound difference. You guys prolly wont be giving up 5 yards + every down, but we will defiantly have at least a good amount of success on the ground no matter what.
As I'm looking through this thread I just saw a stat on the bottom of ESPN, "The NY Jets have averaged 200 Rushing YPG over the last 4 games." 3 of those games were against better rush D then yours, one was against yours.
Good luck with that. I hope you're thinking of freebo sitting in the stands and rooting my team on to another Super Bowl. Actually that's kind of mean of me. Just think of me in the stands with 60,000 other Colts fans having a fucking great time.
I was thinking this before reading this article. Think about this for a second, the article said Rex is super smart and there is a meaning behind everything he says. I think after the Atlanta game Ryan knew they still barely had a chance. He gives a heartbroken press conference that the players see, then the chips fall our way and Ryan gives them the "Destiny has presented us with a second chance" speech. The players are fired up and win the rest of their games for Rex! Too conspiracy-ish? lol
