Scary thing is, the Jets got away from the run a lot today, for reasons I'm unsure of. I really think if we had kept pounding the ball, the stats would have been much better.

Greene does NOT run with decisiveness! Wonder what's happened to him...

This ^. It's absolutely maddening watching Schotty refuse to continue to pound the ball when they're having so much success running. That 3 and out you mentioned (3 incomplete passes) was unbelievable.

With all of Rex's talk about a return to the ground and pound we have yet to see any evidence of it - even when Sanchez is throwing ill-advised passes into triple coverage and Greene/McKnight are regularly ripping off 5-9 yd carries. Is Rex really okay with sitting back and watching that? When are we going to see him put his fuckin foot down?

They just need to give the rock to Mcknight. He is a better runner than Greene and one of the best weapons on the team. Greene is a plodde who runs like a an FB. I like him and think he plays with his all but he's just not that great of a runner.

They are 2 completely different backs. Greene ran very effectively up the middle today. Mcknight does not have the size to do that.

I don't think McKnight has broken a tackle in his life. There were a few runs where had he broken that one tackle, it would have been off to the races. I'm anxiously waiting for that big run from him.
