He won't be bro that's the problem with rookie head coaches, even if he goes 0-17 he won't be fired, just like Zach Wilson 4 years in people will be making excuses for him and pointing at game 10 when he made a coaching decision which made him look like he is capable of coaching in this league. Than 6 years later he finally gets run out of town we are 20 years in a playoff drought and Woody is back hiring another rookie coach.
Worst he knows nothing about offense and we expect him to develop our next qb, I mean if that isn't madness I don't know what is.
He doesn't have a defensive edge either. If Glenn shows something this season then fine but it's clear he has been unprepared especially defensively which should have been the better unit.
Today the d was just awful. They looked like boys out there being toyed with. A few holding calls early and they fold? They either ate unprepared or the design is bad, both of which are on the coach. Offense was embarrassing as well, fields made a ton of mistakes out there so it’s hard to blame coaches for that, he made bad throws, wrong reads, held it too long, etc. First game was great, I thought things were looking ok for the season but this game was concerning. Not just a loss but the way we lost, it was bad this was a team that had no fight
And you know what's the worst part? They should of atleast learned something from last game, instead they came out 1st quarter and wasted no time and roughed the passer and got 2 pi's and fumbled the ball yet again. Either the coach is a complete moron or the players are complete moron's, or the coach and the players are complete moron's.
If Mike Mcdaniel gets fired this year I would fire glenn for him in a heartbeat, at the very least he has a way better chance of developing our franchise Qb.
I miss Coach Saleh. Sure the W-L record isn't what we wanted but the Jets had a STRONG identity under him. A nasty defense each and every week. It didn't matter who was in or out of the lineup he'd make it work. It was the Jets calling card. Now we got nothin'. This year we're supposed to be this big bad running team yet last week with a lead against Pittsburgh middle of the fourth quarter they couldn't come close to running out the clock. Today I don't know what that was out there. Buffalo was blowing up a reverse for a huge loss, one run got stuffed for like a five yards loss it was if Buffalo knew what was coming. And my goodness 17 yards passing in the fourth quarter with Coach Glenn's hand picked starting QB. The QB he couldn't wait to get rid of is now 2-0 in Pittsburgh put up 31 more points today. Edit: I'll take the hit. Pittsburgh lost. lol
I was at my seat early today before noon. NJ transit came through today. Something odd I noticed during warmups it seemed there were more Bills players out on the field and they came out earlier to warm up for the game. There appeared to be more Bills players warming up on the field than Jets players when I arrived at my seat then another bunch of Bills players came out then after a bit a bunch of Jets players came out. Then the rest of the Buffalo squad came out then after a bit the rest of the Jets came out. I don't know if that's normal to me it looked odd.
Saleh was a terrible coach but yeah atleast Saleh's teams fought hard and kept us in games, this is just pure embarrasment since he got fired.
Omg Aaron Glenn is like Saleh all over again just repeats himself Aaron Glenn on Jets' Week 2 loss: 'Very disappointing like very dissapointing, all three phases' our guys will get better. We gotta play better,
