LT has looked much better than I thought he would. If he can keep it up for the whole season then the move to get him was great. There are very few RB's in NFL history who picked it up again after 30 and were anywhere near as good with the new team, let alone flashing back to peak production. Obviously none of them had the kind of mileage on them that LT has.
LT 6.1 yards a carry this year. gotta be honest...I did not really believe that much in LT when we first got him. I thought he would just be in on 3rd downs to catch passes.. I was pretty wrong.
This thread on chargers.com is pretty entertaining. http://forums.chargers.com/showthread.php?t=82504&page=33
I have to admit, I was a wee bit worried and sad when we got rid of TJ and Leon, and got a what EVERYONE thought "washed up" LT. He's proving my ass wrong. Great move by us. Great pick up, and he's getting back to his pro bowl form, and I'm completely loving it.
If they keep using him this much, he will be shot by week 12. He's been great - my concern is overuse.
LT's last 100 yard game was on 26th October 2008. I was there. Wembley Stadium, Saints beat the Chargers. Good game it was.
This must be old cause vs Buffalo, L.T was his old self via 2007 L.T! His TD run where he made Whitner wiff, man that was sweet! Not to mention 27 fantasy points thisw week!!!
"He's got the juice baby! Stop hatin! .... Fuck San Diego." Bart Scott on his SNY Post Game Live interview regarding Tomlinson. .
