first off the biggest problem with our home crowd, is that all the dousche bag giant fans that couldnt get giant season tix get the jets ones and either go to the game and not give a shit, or sell their tix to opposing fans, i understand why someone would wanna leave wen we are losing 30-3 with 10 min left, but for me personally, i travel way to far (either from minnesota, or morgantown, wv) to leave early, oh yea when our d players raise their arms to get the crowd fired up on third down, open ur fucking mouths, clap ur hands do whatever, i swear kerry rhodes recognizes my voice by now

This is how I see it. I understand the criticisms (and some of them are just), but at the same time, I feel like I earned my stripes with this team years ago along with my right to get up and walk out if I feel like it. I got frostbite as a kid to prove it. I sat through worse debacles than you could ever possibly imagine - for years. And I mean years. I can't even entertain the (yeccch!) idea that my loyalty would ever wane. Ain't happening.

I can only speak for myself, but walking out has nothing to do with my 'lack of support'. If someone is insulting my good will or spitting in my face, I can certainly get mad about it. It doesn't mean I no longer love the team or that I don't love the team at all. It's like me getting mad at my dog for eating my checkbook ledger. Which she did. And I love my dog like nobody's business. So Jets, bad doggy.

If someone pays for tickets they have a right to leave when they want to leave.

That said, I think it is ridiculous to leave a close game when the weather is nice unless there is some sort of emergency that came up during the game (such as a family member getting hurt back home or something).

If the weather is horrible and/or the Jets are getting killed, there is no reason to stay.

People who leave close games in good weather really should give up their season tickets. There are plenty of people on the waiting list who would truly appreciate season tickets.
