5-1 Rays! 3-1 Lead...Here we come! Sonnanstine is pitching a gem type of game, on the road, in Fenway, against a championship type of team...Wakefield? lol, like I said...He was bound to get rocked! This Rays lineup is way to explosive for a pitcher past his prime. Future of the AL East=Rays baby...Young, talented, exciting, and playing the type of basball that ONLY world series champions play with. Rays have simply DOMINATED this series. Who seen this coming? I did...Yup, thats right...I seen it coming! I have seen so many losing Devil Rays teams...100+ loses just about every year...This feels good, it has been an amazing baseball feeling since day one of Spring training...I knew we had a team this year...I have seen so many horrid teams that I respect an up and coming team when I see one...Im lucky to be a Rays fan...Thats for sure

Baseball never starts in October, it starts during the Spring...Records mean nothing durng the spring, but once the Rays left spring training with the best overall record in baseball..Fans around Tampa Bay were calling them the Rays - Not the Devil Rays. That previous ownership has been a thing of the past...Right? The whole point of this story, is that teams MUST win in April, May, June, July, August along with a TOUGH September...Just to have a chance in October. These Rays have proved that...Win or lose the whole thing...They have shown that anything is possible... Maybe now, just maybe...This Red Sox fan by the name of Devils or something like that...Maybe he can remember the losing years of teams like the Patriots, Red Sox and even the Celtics...Maybe he wont be so quick to hate a fan of another team, just because he feels his team is the better overall team with the brighter future...Hey one thing is for sure...In Sports... Anything can happen. As a Jets fan...With Favre, Jenkins, PAce, Faneca, Gholston, Stuckey, Lowery, Woody, Richardson...THese players were not around during 2007...These guys already have 3 wins after 5 weeks of play...Took us 16 games to hit the 4 win mark last year. Thats what has happened with the Rays... Players like Pena, Hinske, Bartlett, Garza, Longoria, Aybar, Shields, Iwimura, Upton (In CF), Floyd, Howell, Balfour, Wheeler, Percival...None of these players were really around when the Devil Rays were losing 100 games after 100 games. In less than 2 years...This team is DIFFERENT and you know what? The "Devil Ray" Players like Crawford, Rocco, Upton...Well you know what? Looks like the Rays front office, kept the talented players from the "Devil Rays" and mixed em up with some guys who really wanna win games, while doing it the right way. Joe Maddon=Manager of the year Longoria=AL Rookie of the year Rocco=Comeback player of the year, what a sad story, could be a magical ending. Maybe this Devils guy can remember the bad years...the losing years.

Bingo..... It's amazing, I have nothing against the Rays but I almost don't want to enter the baseball threads. BTW the Rays haven't won anything yet. Don't forget the GYC pal. Talk all the trash you want when they are raising that trophy because Philadelphia is a pretty dam good team. It's a shame that this could be a great series and most people won'tr even watch.
