Yeah, I agree with what Hemi said. No one cares if you post in this thread. Nothing happens here. It's the general idea of people being resentful towards people who don't contribute and win. This happens on every site that holds contests, unless they start imposing restrictions on who can enter, which website owners don't want to do. If you look down the list of past winners, how many of the names would a TGG reader be familiar with? Or if you look at the top 5 each year?

I finished in 3rd place in 2006 behind two people who may not have even had accounts here. Because there were actual prizes that year I was annoyed with the whole thing.
That sucks... i knew going in there were no prizes, but just wanted to be in a pool. Petrozza, instead of a post count, why not just make a verification of account button, that should at least let u see who has actually participated on the GANG GREEN!
I've been here since 2002 and only have 900 or so non BS posts. Some people are not frequent posters but that doesn't mean they don't visit the site often. 100 should be enough.
