Agreed. It's a business to Woody. It's a passion to fans. Woody may be passionate about it, but it will always be about dollars and cents to him in the end.
best quarterbacks in Jet history 1 Joe Namath 2 Mark Sanchez 3. Tie -- all the rest of the loser bunch
1. Namath - SB win 2. Sanchez - 2 AFCCGs(has 2x of playoff wins than everyone else in team history, which kind of pathetic when you consider he did it in 2 years) 3. Testaverde -1 AFCCG and 12-4 season(last time Jets entire offense was good) 4. Todd - 1 AFCCG with 0 points scored 5. Tie - rest of the loser bunch
I'll nominate players that were around during my lifetime Offense Vinny Testaverde Wayne Chrebet Defense Mo Lewis Dennis Byrd (only 4 years, but I think an exception should be made here)
O: Joe D: Klecko Lewis I'd like to use my other O vote to vote against Chrebet, he wasn't even the best WR on his team. Just because he looks like you, doesn't mean he's HOF material. Otherwise, Toon.
Aren't we better off doing some kind of alternative HOF? Otherwise it will just be a carbon copy of the Ring of Honor. It might be nice to reward unsung players, long serving players or personal memories otherwise it will just be Namath, Martin and the other already-well decorated Jets in first. Why not nominate someone out of leftfield and see if we can get a follow-up interview done by TGG?
Offense Namath Richie Anderson Boozer Walker Defense Lance Mehl Joe Kleck Mo Lewis Would love to vote for Aaron Glenn but not posible ubder rules as he's not retired for 5 years yet
