Our pass rush was confusing last year. Rex had a myriad of different blitz schemes and stunts that confused the fuck out of a lot of good QBs. The only QB that it didn't really work against was Manning but I don't think anything confuses the dopey looking motherfucker. This year, teams made it a point to do their hw on the Jets blitz schemes and they've all adjusted.

Maybe I'm wrong but I'm noticing we're blitzing less than last year but we're getting nothing by sending just 3 or 4 guys. Nothing. Zero. Not even a collapsing pocket. Revis is super human that's why he can hold his coverage for so long but most average-above average CBs can't.

Is it just me or have we basically went with 4 rushers the last two weeks, gotten no pressure and been picked apart? It seems to me that we need to get back to sending 5 or 6 guys and live with a breakdown here and there. I mean even in the last drive against Pitt last week we basically rushed 3 and they moved the ball down the field with relative ease and we were lucky the tight end didn't pull one of those passes down. Yet every time we ran a conner blitz it seemed to work. Were not attacking were on our heels. Let's get back to dictating what the offense does. Obviously this dropping extra guys into coverage bull is not the answer.
